Friday Evening Family Fellowship

Home study groups that meet regularly from September thru May every other Friday. We currently have one group meeting in Strongsville and another in the Brunswick area. M 'n Ms 

Social group for couples of all ages.  Meets for special activities several times a year. Contact the church office for more information at office@strongsvilleumc.org.

 

Sometimers 

This group of couples and singles meets the third Saturday of the month Sept-May for a variety of programs and activities.  For further information contact the church office at office@strongsvilleumc.org.

 

 

Bible Study Opportunities

Crosstalks Bible Study

Crosstalks is open to all adults of the church. This group meets weekly on Tuesday, from 10:00 - 11:30am for study and fellowship. For current information about what the group is studying, contact Pastor Julia.

Disciple Bible Study

This 34 week study centers on God’s word and its application to your life. The study consists of extensive scripture reading, and group discussion to learn how the Word applies to your daily life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Two classes offered, each beginning in September and meeting weekly through May. These classes meet on Tuesday from 7:00-9:30pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am - noon at the church. Disciple II, III, and IV are offered for those who have completed the first course.

Women of Joy Bible Study

Women of any age are invited to join other women for a time to study the Scriptures and how the Word of God applies to our every day lives. Study, laughter, and prayer make this a great night out. The group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm from September thru May at the church.

Parent Growth

Each Monday of the school year parents (Moms and Dads) gather from 9:30 am - 11:00 am to discuss a variety of topics related to parenting. Childcare is provided for a nominal fee.

Bethel Bible Study

This is a two-year systematic study of both the Old and New Testaments. This study takes place on Thursdays for 12 weeks from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, in the fall and 12 weeks in the winter/spring. Pre-registration is required.

Men’s Devotional Time

Men, you are invited to meet with other men each Tuesday at 6:00am in the church parlor for a time of devotions and prayer before heading off to a hectic day at work. What a great way to start the day...with other men, learning from the Word of God as encouragement and support are shared.

One-on-One Discipling

If you would like to study the scriptures but none of the Bible Studies meets your schedule, contact Rev. Ron or Pastor Julia, who will put you in contact with someone who can study with you.

Adult Sunday School

Beginning in September through May we will be offering a 6 week on/6 week off, Adult Sunday School Class. This class will be topical in nature, with the foundation of the course coming from Scripture.
