$25 is required per child and includes VBS supplies for the week, a
colorful T-shirt with the VBS logo, and a CD with the High Seas Expedition music and songs
that will be learning and singing throughout the week (1 CD per family). Scholarships are
available, see Jessica Van Lehn. |
Ready for the voyage of a lifetime?
At High Seas Expedition, kids explore the mighty love of God on a journey
that will change them forever! High Seas Expedition is filled with incredible
Bible-learning kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Bible Point crafts, teambuilding
games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the High Seas Expedition
activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see
evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that
phrase a lot!
Also, your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project called Operation
Kid-to-Kid™ that will let the kids in our community blanket the world with
God’s love.
Our High Sea’s Expedition VBS is fun for children of all ages. Classes are available for
children 3 years old (by Dec. 31st 2009) through 5th grade (completed).
Volunteers are needed! The planning, training and decorating are going on now and help is
also needed for Crew & Station leaders during the VBS week.
Teens, parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join our swashbuckling crew as a
volunteer. Positions available for crew leaders, nursery volunteers and kitchen help. No
teaching experience required, there are plenty of positions available for your talents.
Volunteer sign up sheets will be at the registration table or on the VBS bulletin board in
the Christian Education gathering area on the lower level. Contact Becky Zatezalo or
