    Logos ... The Midweek Miracle

Our Logos Ministry nurtures the children and youth of our congregation with Christian education and spiritual growth. The focus is on the theology and practice of Christian relationships in a structured, midweek, four-part context. We strive to create an atmosphere where our children, youth and adults experience being together in a Christian community. Our goal is to help our children and youth build their lives on the solid rock of Christ’s love for them.

    At Logos ...
    • The Bible is our foundation (See Acts 2:42, Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:11-24, I Timothy 3:2, Proverbs 22:6 & Mark 10:13-16).
    • Youth ministry is a priority.
    • Our Pastors play an active role.
    • Logos supports and strengthens our other children’s/youth ministries.
    • We depend on the congregation’s commitment to excellence in Christian education and nurture.

    Four parts...

Following the example of the first Christians, Logos is conducted in a supportive, integrated environment that offers Bible study, recreation and play, family time and worship skills. Students are expected to participate in all four parts.

    • Family Time (the breaking of bread) – Provides a joyous, cross-generational celebration of personhood while we share a meal and experience being part of the family of God.
    • Bible Hour (the Apostles’ teaching) – Nurtures our children and youth into intelligent, obedient, biblically informed discipleship.
    • Worship Skills (prayers) – Develops responsibility for and practice in worship skills as our primary service to God.
    • Playtime (fellowship) – To have great fun and the expense of no one
