    Prayer Warriors

The third Monday of each month, faithful and committed Prayer Warriors meet to consider and pray for current needs and concerns of the church and our families, as well as the guidance and direction of the Lord for our lives.  In addition, during each worship service on Sunday mornings, Prayer Warriors enter the sacristy to silently pray for our congregation and leaders.

    Prayer in Sacristy
Our church is "prayer conditioned."  Volunteer prayer warries enter the sacristy to silently pray during Sunday worship services.  Volunteers pray at one service per month or as able.

    Prayer Chain
Our prayer chain is a spiritual alarm system which communicates and takes prayerful action on the needs of our congregation.  It is important because it faithfully intercedes on behalf of others in need by lifting up specific requests, concerns, and emergency situations.  Not only is prayer a critical and selfless ministry, it is a vital link in our own spiritual growth and relationship to God.

    Group Meetings
Everyone is welcome to attend the Prayer Warriors meetings.  The group prays for current need and the concerns of the church and our families, as well as the guidance and direction of the Lord for our lives.  The group also plans for and puts into action ways to enhance prayer at SUMC.  These meetings take place on one Monday each month.
