Join us for Easter at Strongsville United Methodist Church!
As a church, we are exploring the year-long theme of Christ in Community. This Easter, we invite you to step through the door that Jesus opens to find the light of hope he offers as a part of our community. We have multiple opportunities to experience the joy of the risen Christ.
6:30 am: Sunrise service. Experience the beauty of the sunrise as you welcome Easter morning. This service is held in our café area, which features stunning stained glass and ample windows with the feeling of the sunrise surrounding you. This service also features many of our youth sharing their gifts.
8:15 am: Traditional Service with Communion. A traditional United Methodist service, with a classic liturgical flow, traditional hymns and prayers, the sacrament of Communion and more.
9:25 am: Traditional Service with Communion and Special Music. A traditional United Methodist service, with a classic liturgical flow, traditional hymns and prayers, and more. Featuring our Sanctuary Choir, special instrumental music, and the sacrament of Communion.
11:05 am: Contemporary Service with Communion. This service is music-driven, with a contemporary feel and energy. If you enjoy modern worship music and visual aesthetics, this is the service for you!
At 9:25 am and 11:05 am we offer nursery care (infant-preschool) and Sunday School options (grades K-5 children’s and grades 6-12 youth). We also offer an adult Sunday school option at 9:25 am.
Livestream options are available for both 9:25 and 11:05 am services, on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/StrongsvilleUMC) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@StrongsvilleUMCVideos).
There is plenty of parking available and our building is proud to be disability friendly—no steps to enter worship. In-person worship accommodations include hearing assistance, large print hymnals, liturgy and scriptures on screens, wheelchair/walker/stroller spaces, and busy bags for young children. All who seek to experience Christ are welcome to partake in Communion, as the United Methodist church practices an open table.
Whether you have never been to church, haven’t attended in years, or are looking for a new community to experience Christ with, we welcome you warmly!
