Great news! Night to Shine is NOT cancelled this year! It’s going to look a little different, but it IS happening! Strongsville United Methodist Church and Bay Presbyterian are teaming up again to host this event.

The health and safety of our guests and volunteers are so important to us, and we would never want to put you at risk. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Night to Shine 2021 will be provided as a virtual experience. Please know that this decision was not made lightly and has come through extensive prayer, discussions, counsel-seeking and conversations with families and medical professionals.

Though nothing can take the place of spending time with our honored guests in-person, we are so excited that we are still able to celebrate them with some fun gifts and surprises during the week leading up to the event. All volunteer activity will take place prior to the virtual event. The online portion from the Tim Tebow Foundation will be available for guests and volunteers alike to stream the evening of Friday, February 12, 2021 from our homes. The virtual event will still be an unforgettable night and includes music, dancing, messages from special guests and more!

This year you will have the opportunity to serve on multiple teams if you choose!

  1. Buddy team: You will be assigned a guest in January and given the guest’s/caregiver’s contact information. You will communicate with them leading up to the event and ensure that they know what to expect (as our virtual offering will be much different that the in-person event we hosted last year).
  2. Prep team: You will assist with assembling materials such as goody bags and faux flowers prior to the event. Exact dates and times to be determined (late January/early February).
  3. Delivery team: You will provide contactless delivery to a guest/caregiver sometime between February 10-12, 2021. You will be provided with all of the materials (goody bag, crown/tiara, corsage/boutonniere, yard sign, caregivers gift card).
  4. Prayer team: Pray over needs shared by honored guests, parents and caregivers.

Donations are still needed for this event to happen.
