Blessing of the Animals
Strongsville United Methodist Church is hosting a special Blessing of the Animals service on October 5, 2025, at 3:00pm. All are welcome to bring their beloved pets to receive a blessing. Please bring pets on leashes or in carriers for their protection. This ensures that nothing is going to startle them and cause them to run away in a strange neighborhood. If your pet would not enjoy this experience, then bring a photo or toy to represent him or her.
Photos of pets who have passed away are also welcome, as there will be a time of remembrance of pets who have died.
The service will be held at the outdoor pavilion. In case of inclement weather, a drive-through blessing will be held instead.
Guests are encouraged to bring an outdoor folding chair.
